Girls' Night Out

Every year Momma P plans a special weekend for all the girls, we call the P Girls' Night Out. It is something so special to each one of us. This year we had all the P Girls (minus Brooke since she is too young): Momma P, Janice, Kristi, Jenni, me, Lori, Kate, Misty, Amy, Josie, Maddy and Katie. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Maggiano's and came back to a hotel to throw a baby shower for Kate. Momma P also got one of my first gifts for the baby (some adorable animal bath towels and a baby diaper cake). It was fun to just spend time with the girls and catch up with everyone. The next morning Momma P gave us a few special gifts and we drew names for prayer partners. This year Amy and I were paired up. I am excited to pray for Amy and look forward to this upcoming year. We all shared some of our biggest prayer requests for the upcoming year, prayed and then checked out of the hotel. We all went home for a few hours and then met up at a local park (with the whole family). We had dinner, went on a hayride and made some smores. It was so nice to enjoy a night with family. It is amazing that this is one immediate family: Poppa and Momma P, 17 brothers/sisters, 10 Nieces/Nephews and 3 on the way!:) I love spending time with the family and enjoy the chaos of everyone together. Being together reminds me how blessed to be a part of such an amazing family.
