Erik and Lori's Wedding

Last friday Erik and Lori got married in Charlottesville Virginia. We have been anticipating this wedding for a long time...but the wait was worth it. It was a picture perfect wedding.
During the last ten years that I have known Erik, I always knew he was going to be a "catch" for somebody special because the one characteristic that always stands out is his passion. His passion for God, wisdom, and his friends and family are always apparent in his actions. Well, over the last year (and especially their wedding weekend), I have seen the light....that actually, Lori is the "catch" and how lucky Erik is to have Lori!:)

Well, here are some of the highlights of the week:
- Getting to meet Lori's wonderful friends and family
- Spending time with Marshall, Janice, Joshua, and Gabriel
- Experiencing a personal, intimate rehearsal dinner. One of my personal favorite parts of a wedding was going to the rehearsal dinner. It was a great way for each of the friends and family to know the bride and groom. Erik and Lori had friends and family pass the mic to share personal stories about the couple. And through the night, it was so apparent their love for each other and God's working in their lives. It was so special to be a part of that night.
- The wedding was picture perfect. And the dancing at the reception was a blast (don't miss the entry below!)

We had so much fun and was so blessed to be a part of the wedding. We are now preparing for the final of the three weddings (on Austin's side). Wow.....love is in the air and it is keeping us busy!
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the wedding (Thanks Marshall for a few of the pictures).
